We've just been informed by Brookhurst Hobbies that they have acquired the British wargames company, Firebase Games.

Firebase Games was well known for its series of wargames rules - Overlord, Grey Storm, Red Steel, Free Fire Zone - as well as a line of terrain products.

We asked Brookhurst about the future of the product line. Tracy (Brookhobby@aol.com) replies:

We are still looking for a UK distributor for the Firebase Line. For now, the UK companies can deal with us directly.

The new products lined up for Firebase include WWII Eastern Front Bunkers. These are the last things designed by Barrie Lovell of Firebase for Firebase.
