About MeI am mostly a military history/historical fiction reader,now. I occassionally paint Foundry ACW figures and Hovel buildings for temporary soldier table dioramas. I had gamed for the previous 20+ years Napoleonic, medieval and WWII, beginning in my 30's. Prior to that I used Airfix HO figs to set up pitifully looking unpainted battlefield dioramas. I enjoy TMP for the information and the occassional silliness. If John the OFM posts, I read it for the information and the humor. He has brought me into the 18th century group though to me, Napoleonics is the most interesting era of warfare. I look forward to participating on TMP for many years to come. Games PlayedNot any in a long time (as of Jan 2008). I began on an old medieval game with some fantasy rules called Warlord. I then learned Rally Round the Flag (ACW) and then settled on Napoleon's Battles when it came out. If I still had my Napoleonic 15mm, I would like to play Age of Empires or whatever the Fire & Fury Napoleonics game is called. (I am getting old and forgetful). |
