Games Played

The following three are the genres for which I supply all the models:

WWII Land

This is my biggest area of interest and we most always with Crossfire with house rules (ie, "TimFire") Scale played is 1:72, 1:76, and 20mm, mostly PLASTIC FANTASTIC but I have a steadily growing number of metal and resin vehicles and figures. Quite open to new rules if others wish to present them – my stuff can certainly be used!

ACW Naval/Ironclad Era

Previously used Smoke on The Water, Hammerin' Iron (mated with the previously mentioned set's movement rules), now looking for a simpler set more suited to largish battles in 1:600 scale. Actually one of my friends has contributed ships to this genre as well, but they have been docked at my house for many years!

Age of Sail

Very few ships constructed and rigged so far over the past 6 or so years (as of Fall 2010), 1:1200, still looking for a suitable rule set.

I play other genres where other friends supply all the models:

ACW Land

ACW Land is probably what we play most, next to WWII. 1:72 plastic, though I have invested a couple of hundred dollars in 6mm Baccus figures I'm trying to get my friend to paint. Piquet, home brew rules, and others.

Other Genres

Less played are WH 40K, LOTR, Star Wars, various 6mm historical (DBA, Polemos, and others) mainly from horse and musket era (pre-Napoleonic) and ancients. I have lately been getting together with the John Street Gamers ( link ) and have been playing Impetus, Warmachine, and Blitzkrieg Commander.
