Hello,

I have been going through and thinning out my gaming collection. One item I have been avoiding is my WoW/WoG collection for both WWI and WWII.

Just wondering if there is an easy way to value these models?

I have at least one of everything from the first wave through last year, so may be missing something if there was a recent release.

I hate to part the collection, but I play very infrequently. I see people asking a lot for some of the early stuff, but no idea if it is actually selling for those prices.

Obviously Ebay is an option and let the market tell me what they are worth, but would be nice to have any idea up front if there is a price guide or something.

With few exception my stuff is mostly opened, but maintain in mint condition. I did keep and currently have everything in original packaging. I would advertise it as used though. I have probably only ever played with less than 20% of all the planes.

No rush to sell (still deciding), just thinking I could liquidate some and put it into stuff I am currently doing and keep a decent size collection to play instead of having it all siting on the shelves.

Thoughts?

Donate it to a school club and write off MSRP on your taxes?

Have you tried Noble Knight? They are gentlemen to deal with, hassle free and they pay for shipping! You also get more money if you go for store credit.

A good way to find out current value is go to Ebay and do a search on the model types/codes you wish to sell.
You can gauge the pricing/value that way.

Nobel Knight is actually local for me. Yes they are great, but usually about 50% for store credit. Due to the amount if I sell probably will liquidate.

Have checked Ebay, not all are there and many are Buy it now which does not always reflect value.

The early DR1 has been re-released but some of the other ones can fetch $40 USD or so a piece. If not redone, I would assume about $25 USD each for mid to late air war unless something like Richtoven's other planes or DVII or DVIII which may go to the same higher prices. Having said this, some early re-releases are going up in price due to low supply.
