Yep, I never bought it years ago when it was easy to find, and now I'm yearning for the set…in US/Region 1 dvd format. Anyone got the series set they'd care to sell? Let me know…and thanks!

Thanks, but like most human beings in the civilized world the first place I went was Amazon…😬 and all the collection sets they have are not compatible with US DVD players. Course, I could buy a new zone-free DVD player but I thought "how hard can this be?" Went on eBay and even they failed me…unless I want to drop a few hundred bucks. So then I figured there must be some gamer out there who has watched the series enough times to have memorized it and now would like to convert that collection of dvds into a new pile of lead…anyone…anyone?

I'll try the bookseller too…thanks for the lead!

Rob,

Check Barnes & Noble .com they still have all the series available from B&N or second hand sellers for under $18.00 USD per series. They also have some of the individual episodes on Blue-Ray, but they're a little more expensive!

A region free blue/ raydvd player can be obtained for less then $100 USD on amazon. I long ago abandoned US only players, they are just so limiting. link
And here is the whole collection for $65 USD link
This is the set I have and it is an excellent master of the original series.
