The world of 1/2400 scale pre-dreadnoughts has finally grown complete enough, so I've decided to depart with my large (unfinished) 1/3000 pre-dreadnought collection.
I acquired this collection at flea markets, pretty much as is. I contributed only some sorting and labeling, none of the painting. Most of the castings seem to be Navwar, some are Davco, but I can't tell you which are which. None of the ships are by WTJ. Also, this collection is entirely composed of major vessels, from cruisers on up; there is not a single destroyer (or smaller) in this collection.
Enough of the Russian and Japanese fleets are painted to play Russo-Japanese War battles (which I did, several times). If you paint the rest and add a whole bunch of destroyers, you should be able to play Tsushima, and a bunch of "what if" scenarios besides.
The UK fleet has a huge majority of the major ships (cruiser and up) used in the era 1890-1905. Only 2 are painted, but all except a tiny handful are glued to an ID card indicating the name and type.
Not listed nor photographed are a bunch of miscellaneous ships. About a half dozen badly painted merchant ships, almost a dozen miscellaneous probably-Russian warships, and almost a dozen miscellaneous probably-British warships. These are all unidentified and I'm just throwing them in for free, either with the whole collection, or to the first buyer who asks in the case of multiple separate sales.
Shipping within the US only (sorry, international is just too expensive and hard to deal with). I'm offering each fleet for sale separately, but if you take all 5 fleets, I'll ship them all for free.
