If you don't know Empires, Eagles and Lions, you have a big gap in your Napoleonic knowledge as it relates to war gaming.
In depth, detailed exposition on Napoleonic war gaming, tied back, as Editor Jean Lochet used to proclaim, to the "archival truth"….what was the preferred deployment in two lines? Two separate brigades, fore and aft, or side by side with each brigade self supporting?
This collection is near complete, including the rare first few issues. It ranges from issue #1 to #118 in what I call "Grandma Moses" style…quaint might be another term. But, works of art (and research) nonetheless.
