Empires, Eagles and Lions EE&L, from "da guys in Joisey". Excellent Napoleonic periodical.

If you don't know Empires, Eagles and Lions, you have a big gap in your Napoleonic knowledge as it relates to war gaming.

In depth, detailed exposition on Napoleonic war gaming, tied back, as Editor Jean Lochet used to proclaim, to the "archival truth"….what was the preferred deployment in two lines? Two separate brigades, fore and aft, or side by side with each brigade self supporting?

This collection is near complete, including the rare first few issues. It ranges from issue #1 to #118 in what I call "Grandma Moses" style…quaint might be another term. But, works of art (and research) nonetheless.

Then the quaint Style from New Jersey "citified" and …… [see pictures]

Got big and glossy and technicolorized! Etc etc for another 14 issues or so…

Morphing eventually, in January, 1996 into "Napoleon" magazine for another 15 issues or so…to the Winter of 1999-2000 issue

112 issues of the first 120 issues. Missing # 17, 19-20-21-22-23-24-26 & 27. Some of these may not have published…

$150 USD + postage [not nearly as heavy as full glossy magazines. A lot of these are digest size.
