I want to sell a number of my collections. Running out of room and still adding new things. I think these as nice as most collections. B+ to A+. I'm confident most of the historical basis for things is accurate.

Almost anything on my website I will consider selling. I'll post specifics with better pictures soon. I can sell piece or entire sets. Everything consists of both sides of a historical setting. All are based. A few need flocking of the bases. Usually based for most Rule sets used on each period.

Some have customs boards.

Not everything is on the website yet -
https://dukewacoan.wordpress.com

I've never sold anything before so a bit new at this. I'm
Looking to get what it would cost to commission these. Basically a replacement cost, excluding what I did in terms of research materials etc.

You can post here, PM me, or email -
jimdunnam163ATgmailDOTcom

While willing to consider selling most anything (except my newest stuff), the things I'm most interested in selling i.e. things I just don't play much are -

28mm Early Imperial Romans vs British Celts

28mm Back of Beyond (mainly Copplestones)

15mm ACW Little Round Top

28mm Wars of the Roses (mainly Front Rank)

28mm WWII (Mainly Artizan – British AB and Cdo vs Germans)

60mm John Jenkins FIW

28mm Pirates (mainly Foundry)

1:1200 WWI Naval

40mm Dark Ages (mainly Sash and Saber)

28mm FIW (mainly Conquest)

15mm Greek City States (mainly Xyston)

15mm Roman Republic, Carthage, Pyrrhus (mainly Warmodelling)

Since this is my first attempt to sell some things, I should have updated my site first, and put up a price list I guess. But I will get the website updated hopefully starting by this weekend with pictures. Some of the projects were on what are now bad links, so I will redo, and I will get everything up.

I will say that all those projects shown should give you an idea of what each look like in terms of quality. But you need to of course see things.

I will also post pictures of any terrain or buildings that I use with each.

Again, novice seller here. I will also put up a new topic for each individual project once the pictures and asking prices are all up.

Just to give an idea of price, I'm going to go to current websites for current best price to buy the lead, then what it cost me on the commissions. Many things were Fernando, so they were not crazy prices.

But for example, Copplestone figs are about $2.00 USDUS each online, plus shipping. Fernando cost is $3.90 USDUS for Showcase, which all figures are that or better, but I'll use that. Plus the shipping on everything (Fernando is more meaningful) that I had to pay. For most of my figures, I printed copies of painted figs from online (for example, most are exact copies of those shown painted on the Copplestone site) and Fernando painted them to match.

Again, I will put an asking price on things. Never done the auction or ebay, so would rather just find a buyer.

Seriously, I can't see any listing FS on the site.

There is no For Sale area. Just pictures of some of the projects and info on them. Not all there though.

One other note I am less inclined to only sell one side of a project or pieces if I think I can get rid of the remainder. Because not many gamers locally I've always done both sides, so my keeping only one side remaining doesn't make sense for me. That said if I can find separate people for everything that's of course great.

Jim, I tried contacting you at the email you provided and it bounced back to me. Please contact me at Burker1 (at) aol (dot) com about your Greek City States figures. Thanks.

Hi Jim,

I think the Pirates are mainly or all Foundry. They were painted similar to the painted examples on the Foundry site. I should start putting up full photos, inventory list and asking price of things this weekend.

I will be rolling out inventory, pictures and asking price one group at a time and post a notice when done.

Obviously I should have had all that done before this post, but hey, I'm new here.

And your pricing is 7 per foot figure and 13.50 per mounted? That's a lot of loot per figure. Lately I have been getting about 1.5 to 3 dollars per painted foot and 3 to 6 per painted mounted. The current market is unfortunately not chock full of people with deep pockets….

Good luck

DukeWacoan Supporting Member of TMP Fezian25 Mar 2017 7:40 p.m. PST

Dadster, good observation, so I need to clarify.

Never having sold anything, I needed to have some estimate of cost to complete from scratch. So, my post is just what it says it is, what the cost would be to do them again, not necessarily what I am asking.

I've just pulled up current lead prices from the respective manufacturers, then pulled the painting cost off Fernando's website, rounded up for shipping back and forth to Sri Lanka, etc.

Once I get everything up, I'm going to start taking offers.

Dadster Supporting Member of TMP25 Mar 2017 7:52 p.m. PST

Thanks for reply. The figures are painted very nicely indeed. You have some very nice miniatures.

Looking for Viet Nam 25mm, found pictures. I have this set painted already. Nice paint job on the album though.
