Something I am never going to use. These are all professionally painted and half are based for Blucher. I believe it is roughly around 2300 figures, mostly French and British but some Prussians. The sale also includes the Blucher Rulebook and every card set put out (6 sets) as well as flags, extra bases and some playing aids. Painted by UK based painters.

Congrats! That's a bit of a relief for me to as I was strongly considering getting in deep trouble with my spouse. This would have seriously blown my gaming budget for this month.

Congratulations. If you don't mind me asking which painters in the uk did you commision to do the work?

Thank you both, I packed up the figures this morning and it was not with some regret. I had put a lot of time into the collection. But alas it was quite clear I was never going to use it.

Most of the figures were obtained from an eBay seller who goes under the name sennacherib33. You have to pay up front and wait about 6 weeks but I would have no problem recommending him.

About a third of the figures came from Turbil Miniatures, I am sure they are Ok and quality was fine but I would not use them again. It was a struggle to get the figures, they were paid up front and I had to use the Paypal dispute mechanism to get them to meet their promises in respect to delivery.

I have to say my experience with painters from Thailand, Spain, Australia and Sri Lanka was much easier. But I have not had them paint 6 mm figures.
