Gnu Image Manipulation Program
(It's an open source raster image tinkering program, like photoshop) gimp.org I will grant you that the name is a little too interesting. You wouldn't eat at a restaurant called "Botulism" but someone somewhere thought you'd install a program called "The GIMP" on your system… It's a pretty good program for cleaning up, changing, and putting funky effects on digital images. It's free to use (so long as you agree not to try to sell it, take credit for it, or an arm lengths list of other legaleese). |
