I have been out of work for about a year and have to make some money to pay my bills. These books are from various stages in the life of Osprey Publishing. With a few noted exceptions they are in excellent to near mint condition. The cover styles that Osprey has used over the years have evolved and this collection reflects that. I have tried to price them to sell but if you are interested in a large quantity, please PM me here on TMP or contact me at ruuschaynes22@gmail.com. First come, first served of course. However, I really can't afford to wait long on message responses or payment (Paypal preferred). Shipping will be as near cost as I can get it. Continental US customers only please. Thank you in advance for your interest!

Just want to jump in here and say I bought a bunch of Osprey's from Russ a few weeks ago, and they arrived in great condition. He's clearly taken care of his books and is great to do business with. James

Russ Haynes Supporting Member of TMP15 Feb 2020 6:38 a.m. PST

Thanks James, I appreciate the recommendation. I managed the museum store at the Oklahoma History Center for over ten years and we carried about 1000 book titles on Oklahoma, it's history and the west. I personally shipped thousands of books out to customers during that time and tbh, I don't remember one complaint about packaging. As a book lover, it was always important to me to provide adequate protection for books when I shipped them. Hardbacks were the most problematic but boxes weren't cost effective for single books so I would normally wrap them in a brown paper merchandise bag and then go with a padded mailer. For heavier, individual hardbacks, I would add a bubble mailer as close to the size of the book as possible and then package that inside a slightly larger bubble mailer.

Russ,
So far as I can tell, you haven't yet found a home for Warrior 118: Byzantine Infantryman, Eastern Roman Empire, 900-1204. If that is the case, please contact me at: edgington52 at comcast dot net, and we can make arrangements.

Thanks very much!

Grelber

Let me take a look. I just went to my storage unit yesterday and found some more Ospreys, too. I plan to relist all the unsold volumes within the next couple of days and highlighting the new additions.

Russ Haynes Supporting Member of TMP20 Feb 2020 5:28 a.m. PST

Grelber, you are correct, it is still available. It would be $9 USD with media rate shipping and I think about $13 USD with priority mail shipping.
