Recognition Journal
by U.S. Army and Navy
Condition: Near Fine/None

From World War II, ten (10) magazine size issues of the RESTRICTED journal in Near Fine, stapled wraps approximately 13 by 9 inches with 50 pp. These copy has only mild aging and slight wear to pages (all stored in sealed plastic bag). These journals were used to train members of the US military services to recognize planes, ships, and various ground vehicles, such as tanks, and are filled with B/W photos of these (for the Allies, German, and Japanese) with many combat pictures. There are detailed legends with the photos, as well several short articles. There are a number of quizzes with answers in each issue. Release of an issue or revelation of its contents to unauthorized persons was prohibited by law (Espionage Act, 50, as amended)
