Sampson Ships

"The Sampson Workshop specialises in producing Wooden ships for Wargamers. These are not your usual teeny-tiny wargaming ships, these are big! Battleships are 20 inches long, and Destroyers a more modest 9 1/2 inches. To play with these big boys you need room, lots of room.

"The ships are constructed of solid pine, and coated with a clear varnish (that you can paint over if you wish). All turrets on all models swivel (for that broadside look) which allows actual firing arcs to be determined, and can be removed.

"These ships are made for playing on the floor and as such you'll find they're pretty much 'trip' resistant, should you fall over one."
