Houston's Ships

These 1/1200 scale American Civil War naval models were originally produced by Richard Houston, and sold through his company (Lyzard's Grin). In 1999, the product line was sold to Stone Mountain Miniatures and marketed as Houston's Ships. Richard re-designed several of the original castings for Stone Mountain, as well as sculpting some new ships.

(Note that Lyzard's Grin also produced other ships for other periods and scales, which were not sold to Stone Mountain Miniatures and thus did not become part of the Houston's Ships line - even though these, too, were produced and sold by Richard Houston.)
