Comet Metal Products

Manufacturer of 1:1200 scale naval and 1:108 scale military vehicle recognition models for the U.S. military during WWII, producing figures for all major combatants. After the war, the models were sold as the Authenticast product line. Comet went out of business in 1962, and its moulds and stock were acquired by Superior Models. The military vehicles were acquired by Quality Castings.
