I don't reply to many forum threads anymore concerning these sorts of questions. Often for the very reason that few gamers are coming from the same desire for their gaming expectations, and often the OP asking the question doesn't really know what they're seeking.

Hit the history books is what I would like to say (if historical gaming is the new interest), then there's going to be a clearer "point of entry" to the hobby……then afterwards, maybe the seeker still remains engaged.
