Figure scale
Wargaming uses scaled down miniature figures.
These can come in a variety of sizes and can be expressed as a fraction (1/72) or as a metric measurement(20mm).Sizes of 2mm, 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm, 40mm, 42mm and 54mm are used for role-playing and table-top games, but that measurement can be from boot sole to eyes or to top-of-head. In a strict sense a figure "size" is not a scale as it is not referenced to any real life measurement, however wargamers generally use size and scale as interchangable and equivalent terms. Due to this the use of scale is not uniform and can deviate considerably.
