VPs

Victory Points.

Game mechanism for determining which side wins or loses a scenario. Certain objectives are given a points value before the game, and the player who acheives those objectives, scores the points.

Examples: "The crossroads is worth 5VP to whoever holds it at the end of the game."
"Each enemy unit routed or destroyed scores 1VP."
