Tactica

A] Tactica [game] is a set of ancient and medieval rules written by Arty Conliffe – who also wrote Armati, Spearhead, Shako and Crossfire. It very much has the ethos of Old School wargaming in respect of big units of big figures. A second edition has been in the works for the best part of a decade. B] Tactica [book] is a military treatise written by or on behalf of Byzantine Emperor Leo VI: link
