Rivet Counter
One who criticises accuracy based on the slightest flaw, e.g. "no, no, no that's totally inaccurate – the turret on that tank had 32 vertical rivets on each plate, yours clearly has only 31". The term was originally associated with railroad modelling. See also bricole.
