HMGS

[1] Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, the club which runs three major game conventions (Historicon, Cold Wars, Fall In!). Founded in the 1980s in Wally's basement. (Wally Simon one of the founders who lived in Maryland) Formerly known as HMGS East.
[2] Defunct umbrella organization for U.S. gaming clubs.
[3] Several chapters of the former HMGS [2] still use "HMGS" in their titles.
