Stifles

What is a Stifle?
A stifle is when another TMP member has chosen to block your forum posts so that he cannot see them.
Can I find out if someone has Stifled me?
No.
Can I find out who did this to me?
No.
Should I be concerned?
No.

Stifling Others

This guy is driving me nuts! I never want to read another one of his posts!!!
Well, then - in the forums, click on his membername to go to his Profile page...
Click on his membername
...scroll down until you see the "Stifle" button, and press it.
Press the Stifle button
If you've done it right (and how can you mess it up?), the stifled member's name will turn grey...
Name turns grey when stifled
...and so will all of his posts in the forums (when you are logged in).
His posts are grayed out
OK - now I've stifled so many people, I can't remember them all.
You can see the list of who you have stifled by going to your own Profile page.

OK, click on his membername again to go to his Profile page...
Got to see what he said!
and click the "Unstifle" button.
Press the unstifle button
Who is the most-stifled person on TMP?
We do not give out that information.
Can I Stifle the moderators?
Yes... but that also has the effect of Locking your account! grin
