14th Brooklyn's Contest Entry

14th Brooklyn's Qualifications

Hello!

Why should I be one of the guys taking part in this contest? Well, I was one of the first to start playing Battletech, decades ago when there was no "Classic" and the weapons list contained less then 20 items. So with me you would have someone in this contest who knows what something on the mini is actually meant to represent.

Back in those days, I had a collection of well over 500 'Mech models, and I would really love to see the results now that I could spend more time on them and that my skill has improved through years of historical wargaming.

What you would get from me are detailed descriptions on how I did things, with high-class photos to go with them. My real life job involves a lot of writing, so I know how to put pen to paper. And it involves keeping deadlines, so I would not punch out of this contest at one time because I forgot one.

What you would also get is a very huge range of different techniques you can use. I believe that there is not just one way to paint a mini, but dozens - and that each mini needs a different one. And I would not stick to one type of paintjob on my models... you would get both camo paintjobs and parade ground.

So please consider me for your vote, as I promise you to keep you entertained, and I would really love to mess my skills on the very minis that gave me so much pleasure for so many, many years!

Thank you!
