Hi, I'm Dave Fanjoy. I have been painting miniatures for about 10 years, and the Battletech line is my focus area. I am always striving to improve as a painter. Over time I have familiarized myself with several painting techniques, including airbrush, washes and glazes, drybrush, and blending. I am constantly on the lookout for new tricks and tips to make the minis look more real.
I also have a lot of experience painting for projects. I haven't entered any contests in the last 5-6 years, but I have had pictures of my minis featured in 3 Classic Battletech sourcebooks. My website (heavygauss.com) contains pictures of minis I have painted, which includes pretty much every Battlemech ever produced. I am pretty knowledgable about Battletech history and background, and I'm one of the founding members of CamoSpecsOnline.com, a website devoted to displaying the regimental colors of all the Battletech units.
Anyway, I'd really enjoy the chance to practice my skills while demonstrating techniques for others. So, um, please vote for me.
