Why I Should Be a Finalist

Why I should be a Finalist...mmm, well, I've been involved in Visions in Colour, Visions in Putty, been a winner in The Chick Painting Contests, Reaper's online painting comp, and have won various local painting comps including the Golden Demons. My CMON standing isn't too bad either.

Apart from that, I'm quite a fan of the sculpting in the Void and Celtos ranges, so I'd like to paint more of them.

Painting Sample

Here's my entry for the Last Painter Standing contest, don't think he's my best mini ever, but he's probably the most photogenic (^_^).

He's a Warhammer Dark Emissary, a very Dark Crystal-inspired sculpt if ever there was one. Quite a fun mini to paint, the swirly thing on his back was the real test. I painted him up for last year's Sydney Games Day - he placed 3rd in the Single Fantasy category (a good placing for an unconverted mini). For a front and back view of him, have a click here.

Well, hope to see you all in the finals, the trophy looks very sweet. That and I'd like to paint up some more iKore minis, Kev White is a great sculptor.
