Proposed Painting Plan for Hang-Glider

The rest of the Dwarven army uses 'natural' colors for the units -- browns for leather, grey clothing, etc. A more flamboyant (and slightly crazed) Dwarf will take to the skies to turn enemies into barbeque, so the Bat needs brighter colors. The major source of color will be the 'skin' of the wings and tail. The wings will be yellow in the front, fading to a bright red at the trailing edges. Runes will run along the trailing edge of both wings, possibly even the tail (registration markings). The pilot needs a blonde beard and blonde hair. The frame of the Bat will be a dark brown higlighted with a yellowy brown to bring out any wood grain sculpted in, or to suggest it if it isn't there. Metal bits will be silver washed with Payne's grey - bits of cool colors to contrast with the brightness of the rest of the machine. The flame barrel will show scroching from the flames. The pilot will be dressed in darker colors -- I'm thinking something close to black. It needs a better stand! Keep the clear stem, but I will make a hex base with a bit of terrain on it. It'll look nicer!

Chaos General and Chaos Sorceror (Warmaster miniatures)

Here's a Chaos General and retinue and his sidekick, the Chaos Sorcerer of many colors. These miniatures are 10mm in scale, some Warmaster miniatures from Games Workshop.

Other Information

I would love a chance to paint one up! I have been painting for 15 years now. Since last year, I have been painting Warmaster armies, so I am used to the smaller scale.
