Dwarven Hang-Glider Painting Contest Entries

The Bat has potential to be the centerpiece of the army, so the paint job needs to catch the eye. On the other hand the rest of the army uses more realistic colors. If the Bat is too bright, it'll stick out like a sore ... whatever. The key, I think, is to pick one or two vivid colors, perhaps deep red and golden yellow, for the large fields of the model. Carefully highlighted, these colors will catch the eye but not be garish. The rest of the model would be painted realistically in earthen tones and metalics, with extra care given to the pilot. Runes and other markings round out the design.
