Proposed Painting Plan for Hang-Glider |
To date the army has been painted pretty traditionally. So I think you could go two ways. Option One: Traditional - Use canvas wings(cream with inks and so on)with a dwarf family icon or symbol on the wings and tail like a normal aircraft. Use the predominant color of the army/clan on the airframe to tie the glider to the rest of the army. I also see the dwarfs doing the gliding to be somewhat crazy or daredevils and flamboyant. So I would use dress them in colors reminiscent of the early aeronauts of the 20th century.
Option Two:
You could really have some fun with it and paint it like any one of the fantasic color schemes of the German Air Corps in WWI. Otions there are the obvious Red Baron Scheme, The Yellow and White bright scheme, and of course the german lozenge scheme. Then paint the pilot in all black leather, and maybe put a picklehaub on his head.
I think on both you could add wire for rigging, and some bombs made from barrels or buckets.
Thats it. |

Other Information |
I own a tremendous amount of all the Demonworld armies and the TMP house army should add some arqubusiers and some artillery or a walker. TMP should do the elves or orcs next. The Demonworld sculpts are beautiful. Great figs. They are the best fantasy 15mm figs on the market. |
