“Allo Sur, and what would ye be liking to look at in our ‘umble workshop this fine day? We’ve got a wonderful Hell-Spitter that’s recently been rebuilt and washed out. It’s a mite good price too Sur. A Bat, Sur? Are you being for sure? No Sur, I mean Yes Sur, we’s gots Bats Sur. We at 'YARG' (Young Artisans Research Group, a subsidiary of the Craftsmans Guild) specializes in Bats Sur. We wuz the innovators of the Bats Sur. Oh… of course you be knowing that Sur. We’s gots Ramming-Thorn Bats… No Sur, they don’t have a long lifespan. We’s gots Blunderbus Bats, but I must be saying that the reloading is not the most bestest. Ahhh… a Flamethrower, Sur. That’s one of our most popular models. Now, what is your Clan’s colors Sur? Oh, it’s for our new service Sur. We be offering your choice of color schemes on Bats Sur. Except for the Thorns of course, seeing as how they no last too long… Now, your colors Sur? Ahhh… Red, white and brown. Perfect Sur. May I be suggestin a simple scheme then? We’ll be leaven the wood frame a wood color. You know, a brown, Sur. No not just any brown, a nice rich brown, with the grain delicately picked out of course. We’ll be a leaven the wings a whitish color Sur, so that the stoopid orcs and whot-nots be thinking it’s a cloud, Sur. Then we’ll be using the red to ac-cen-tu-ate the whole thing Sur, The top half of the tail fin, the Pilot’s gloves helmet and boots, Sur. His clothes, Sur? I guess he’ll be a wearen whot you supply for ‘im… Oh. Of course Sur, we’ll be happy to supply a color coordinated jumpsuit as well Sur. The Weapon itself, Sur? It’ll have to be a metal colored metal as the heat from the flames’ll melt the paint off Sur, but we'll work up some color on the fuel tank Sur. You’ll be a happy Dwarf-lord with the Bat, Sur. Now, if you would be please going in to talk to the Master Craftsman to be setting up the payments Sur…” “Is he gone yet? He is? *Whew* Bloody good thing he finally left. My mouth was starting to hurt from all that peasant-speak. Oh well, one more sale and I move up to junior planning.”

Sample Photo
one of my wifes' Warlords

The Titan pictured is one of my wifes' Warlords painted up in the style of the Warlord Titan most often seen in WD and in the Codex Titanicus. It was painted with a combination of regular paint (GW, Partha, Polly S) and inks. The picture was scanned on a flat bed Lexmark scanner. (And it's bloody hard to scan these and have it look halfway decent.)

Other Information

Me: Semi-pro painter who specializes in 6mm to 28mm minis (and some Titans) Definition of semi-pro: not quite as good as the big boys, but cheaper.
