Which of the two figure lines (Perry Plastic or Front Rank) do you prefer for Russian infantry? I want the best looking figures. Price is not an issue. I am comparing Perry Plastic to the Russian march poses from their Reinforcement packs. Appreciate your thoughts.

"Best looking figures" is certainly a matter of taste, so whichever one you like best.

I have a unit which is primarily Perry plastic infantry, with the Front Rank "Reinforcements" grenadiers. Works well b/c the FR are a bit heftier than the Perrys (heads are the most noticeable), and I find the faces easier to paint.

The plastics are in three pieces, so it's easier to paint the straps/backpack/ammo/sword area than on a conventional metal figure. The figure's left side is a bit easier to paint as you can do the head separately without having to deal with a small space between the musket and head.

Both look very good.

My personal preference is Front Rank.

Front Rank for me as well. While I think the Perry's produce more choice and offer more dynamic posing I like the style of Front rank more and find them more enjoyable to paint.

I would advise taking a look at Foundry's Russians which were also done by the Perry's which are quite nice and I prefer them more then their current ones they produce for themselves.
