I am finding this rather bizarre, but I can't find anyone who seems to stock Reaper Warlord, which seems very very strange.

Can someone with more knowledge than me make a suggestion

Static Games Glasgow stocks it, but I think they import it direct from the US.

email me at c.speirs AT equus DOT demon DOT co DOT uk and I'll pass your details onto the owner

The UK Reaper distributor is Minifigs miniaturefigurines.co.uk

When I was at Reading's Warfare 2006, someone was selling Reaper Warlord figures. I'm pretty sure that it was Keep Wargaming.

I second the use of Spirit games – super friendly and amazingly fast deliveries – although they sometimes dont have everything in stock. …

I NEVER use minifigs. they never reply to email i send, and their service when i have used it has been slow.

One thing both companies suffer from is poor websites, neither have pictures. You have to go to reapers website to see figures, note down the numbers you want and then go to the uk websites to place an order. Whilst thats 'kind of' understandable for an independent retailer like spirit games (barely) its downright ridiculous for an authorised distributor like minifigs.

I can only assume that reapers distribution licensing policy means it not possible or worthwhile for other retailers and distributors to sell their product. I find the fact that reaper allow this to be the case in the UK – which must be a pretty good market for mini's – astounding.

Having said all that i have also ordered direct from reaper in the US before and for a transatlantic service its pretty fast, and with the exchange rate the way it is right now even with shipping its been no more expensive than buying in the uk.

oops

my apologies to minifigs for my previous note.

I just checked their website for the first time in a long time and see that they do have pictures of reaper figs which is under their "gallery" link. This links to the Reaper US website however, so you still have to note down numbers and transpose them…

Thanks everyone,

Hurcheon, I'll try a couple of the other suggestions first, but thanks very much for the offer.

I did go to the minifigs site as I know they sell reaper miniatures, but could find no reference to the rule book, may just have been me. I have bought things from them in the past, as far as I remember they were quite helpful, but my memory is not too good.

Likewise tried Keeps website which is useless, and they did not have it on their ebay shop

I think I will try spirit first, and then call keep direct by phone if spirit don't have it.

Thanks for the advice, I am normally moderately competent at finding things on the internet, but these eluded me!

Thanks to Games Workshop I think, warlord does not seem to sell well in the UK. Spirit games are out of stock and Keep wargames have ONE copy which they have had since 2004 they say it is a first edition printing??

My question is, is this OK or is there a much more current version out there to buy? We agreed I would check here and then call him back and let him know if it was current.

It took me about an hour to print, cut and glue stick into my 1st edition book the changes made in 2nd. No hardship at all and changes are very minor, mostly amendments to wording and some stats, no great rule alterations.

We play Warlord using only the core book, have no plans to add the specific army expansions.

When I was at Reading's Warfare 2006, someone was selling Reaper Warlord figures.

Well we sell the various civilians, some animals and adventurers packs (and were at reading) – but we dont sell the general figures.

Anybody know where the 2nd edition sheets are to update a set of 1st edition rules?

I have purchased the 1st edition set of Warlord, as it is in stock and available. I got the vendor to agree to knock a bit off the price as they are of course not much use to them being old stock.

Now all I need is the list of changes in 2nd edition and I am off….
