I bought a number (actually a high number) of landing craft from Old Glory during one of their many Command Decision 40%-off sales. I have not built them yet (so many figures . . .) but they are coming up on my "to do" list rapidly. My problem is: what color are they (using Vallejo or Model Master paints)? They all look various shades of gray with liberal rust streaks and diesel fuel spills, but I am searching for the "right" color. Any experience you have had painting using these brands would be helpful. Thanks.

For LCA Use a Medium Grey (Say basalt Grey) as a base, with a wave of darker grey along the edge. The Walcheren Island After the battle has some great photos.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
