Does anybody know of a US source for non-transitive dice? For those not aware of what such things are, explanation can be found via link — but the postage would be more than the cost of the dice for me to order from that source. Thanks! JJW-T.C.H. |

Contact Kaplow dice. I believe they offer these and they are a US Company. Tom Dye GFI |

Ohh those are evil. the trick is getting them to select first (assumed advantage) |

Tom, thanks for suggesting Koplow, but they don't seem to list such a thing on their web site. And yes Saber6, they're evil — that's the point! JJW-T.C.H. |

Make your own – use Koplow's blank dice. |

Did you look under their listing for "Specialty Dice"? Tom Dye GFI |

Tom, your URL has a spelling error, and there's no "Specialty Dice" listing on their page that I can find. I've combed their catalog pretty thoroughly, but if I've overlooked something I'd be delighted to know where! EC, that's my backup plan, but I'd prefer something more polished than that. Thanks again for the suggestions, JJW-T.C.H. |

I know of no source for non-transitive dice (otherwise known as Efron's dice
link in the US Another idea is have Gamestation link or Chessex link make you a custom set |

I know chessex has a lot of odd ball stuff in the warehouse that they don't list on the website because it is just so "low desnity" but they often take it to conventions – I'd suspect Koplow would be the same – I'd call their customer service #s rather than search their websites for a difinitive answer |

If Chessex has a couple of sets
please let me know
I have an inside contact at Chessex and he never mentioned any non-transitives |

I have contacted the owners of Grand Illusions in the UK to ask if they will let us carry their non-transitive dice (and their Sicherman dice) at AdvancingHordes.com . I'm just waiting for a reply. I'll post the answer here when I know it. I'd love to have these dice for our novelty section, as we already carry some interesting trick dice
but not these! |

The Non-Transitive Dice from Grand Illusions in the UK have just arrived at AdvancingHordes.com . However they are not listed in our inventory yet. The numbered set will be priced at around $6.00 USD USD and the pipped set at around $6.00 USD USD too. We also got some of the Sicherman dice. They will be about $5.00 USD USD per set of two. Sicherman dice, although numbered differently, when used as a pair have the same probabilities as a pair of ordinary D6's. If you want some of these dice before I get them up on the website, just go to our website and use the "contact us" page to let me know and we'll work something out. |

Well it sure took us a while
but the Non-transitive dice (and sicherman dice) are up on the AdvancingHordes.com website now. They are $4.75 USD USD for either non-transitive set. Here's the story: TMP link Here's the link: link |

The problem comes when players mix these special pip dice and use them as regular dice. I spent 25 minutes in agame when both the enemy and myself noticed that the dice that he was using was not normal. The problem was he could not loss but neither was he able to kill anything. |

Like me using average dice for 30 minutes, Rudy, and wondering why I couldn't get a "6" to hit to save my life. (I think it helped for morale though.) |
