I was looking at Squadron.com for a 1/48 scale WACO Glider and I came across a BV-40 Armored Glider. Manufacturered by Czech Model from the Czech Republic, I'm guessing plastic with resin detail parts for $17.96 USD USD. There was also a DFS 230A, WW II German transport glider. Like the type used to rescue Mussolini. It is made of injection molded plastic with resin and photo-etched parts. The description says it has a detailed cockpit and troop compartment. Markings for 2 aircraft. This one goes for $32.46 USD USD. On the Squadron site there is a review with photos. Looks as if it is a nice model. Should work with Artizan Designs 28mm Fallschirmjagers.

There was also a Kalkert Ka 430 storm transport glider WW II German assault glider in 1/72 scale for $24.96.

I have the DFS-230 and use it with my Artizan Fallschirmjager. It's perfect!

I think Italieri made one, but I'm not sure about the scale. You can check on the squadron site to be sure or check out greatmodels.com, they might have a Waco or Horsa in that scale.

The Waco and Horsa Italieri makes are in 1/72 scale. I was searching a while back ad found a vacuform 1/48th. Hannants in the UK sell a 1/48th Waco glider from Sanger Aircraft kits (vacform) for £24.99. Currently it is sold out.
