Just a little warning, bought $56.00 USD on the online store, revived one automatic email and a second real one the order was shipped or really would be shipped, it was two day said it was. Revived only part of the order, no invoice, no packing material, in an envelope that fell apart once, I opened it. Tried for two week emailing to let him know about this error, nothing no reply nothing. I used paypal, for just this reason and after escalating the refund policy through paypal, I received all my money back, even email him back, an offer to pay for the few I received, but nothing.

I really wanted those Bearded Devils, and Slaad look alike, anyone deal with him or them?

I gather there's free parking on the 3rd Floor of the main building car park for bikes.

Anyone know what its like? Amount of space, security etc.

I'm toying with riding in to Salute this year.

I am looking for pictures of painted figures/units for the Great Northern War in 6mm, 10mm, and 15mm.

Myself and a couple of other players are discussing the possibility of jumping into this as a new project and would like to see what others have done.

There are plenty images of painted 25mm figures and their associated units but there seems to be a very limited number of images for the other popular scales. We are trying to get an idea of what we think looks good on the table top and why players choose what they did.

We did some mock ups of units using figures from other ranges and scales; that really didn't help us.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A blog update entry I made about a week or so ago, but completely forgot to post here for you to check out.
In this chapter, I get more figures, make a fun trip to Hobby Lobby and then make a not so fun trip to the ER.
Read all about it right here…

As always, comments are appreciated.

Thanks!

Having recently finished my book on the Chattanooga and Knoxville campaigns (ending with Sherman's relief of Knoxville, 6 Dec 63), I'm contemplating writing a volume connecting that one with my old '64 series, that starts with Grant's appointment as general-in-chief (March '64).

Given that there are no major battles in that period, I'm wondering if there would be much interest in a book on the subject. It would, however, include: Longstreet's retreat into the northern end of East Tennessee and operations there; Averell's rail on Salem VA; Forrest's recruiting efforts in West Tennessee; Sherman's Meridian campaign and Forrest's defeat of Sooy Smith; the large escape of Union officers from Libby Prison; and the Kilpatrick/Dahlgren Raid.

What do you think?

It doesn't have to be anything that stood the test of time (it's actually more fun if it didn't), but which do you remember being excited to get up to watch most?

If instead you watched serial westerns for a nickel at the theater downtown, bless you.

But if you binged 'classic' Naruto on your mobile device, get off my lawn.
