Hi, In the Rapid Fire 2 rulebook there are some rather nice explosion markers made from hamster bedding. I was wondering how these were made? Do you just stick the stuff to a base and tease it out or do you need some sort of wire armature to stop your explosion going 'phut' instead of 'KABOOOM'? Do you spray paint the whole thing? Any ideas? Thanks Jim |

I use the polyester teddy bear stuffing, as it has the useful attribute of becoming quite rigid when you spray paint it, so you can tease it into an appropriate shape, then spray it and it'll hold the shape. Dom. |

Oh, for a moment I thought you needed markers for a game in which hamster bedding explodes on a regular basis. Not that I wouldn't play it. |

You could use the Eureka Teddy Bear figures, MJS, and have a massacre in the barracks (thus the possibility of exploding hamster bedding…). Hmmm, now who would be attacking the Teddy Bears? Evil toys? Army Men? Other Teddy Bears? Pete Panini and the other Wringwraiths from Hmsge? So many choices. I know — the Teddy Bears are marching in a relief column to support the valiant Hotspur at Historicon, when they are ambushed by the wicked forces of the Wringwraiths and their Historical Miniatures Gaming Hobby (TM) zombies led by VaZhoda. Can the forces of silliness stand against the grumbling hordes? |
