For those that might see it here first Stars Reach will be launching its second kickstarter 3/18/2018. It has been announced in the Hobby News section on TMP, with a link to the KS page that can be viewed now. Or you can always go to the kickstarter web site and do a Stars Reach search.
So for those interested go check it out! For those that participated in the last one, well, we hope you come back a second time, enjoy and happy gaming all!!

This claim is made in a Hugo award winning article in passing, but I'm unable to trace it down. One writer, Joshua S. Goldstein in his book _War and Gender_ claims

"Shaka Zulu's army by one erroneous account had an all-female front-line regiment. Scholarship on Shaka's military tactics makes clear that all the soldiers were men."

but the footnote goes to a defunct site.

Did he have an all female regiment? Are there miniatures of it? did it fight?

The answer is in the quote. "Erroneous account". According to your secondary source, the primary source is in error. I'm not trying to be that guy, but the author really did answer your question.

The service at Irregular Miniatures is first rate, bar none!

I get orders filled from the UK in less time than many domestic US sellers.

Thanks, Ian

Look, this a dumb series of questions and I can only apologise. I can count buttons in the Napoleonic Era, I can recognise any mark of Finnish tank in WWII and I know the right radar array for USS Pennsylvania in dry dock on Dec 7th (however much censored in most photos) but claim no expertise in ACW.
One of my sons, today, has been awarded a UK scholarship, for a Doctorate in some weird topic to do with the Guerrilla War in Missouri ….and I want to do a little diorama for him to celebrate this.
Let me ask the experts then. 28mm figs (unless there is some larger single figure of someone like Quantrill, I guess) are what I am used to.
Perrys, in UK, do six mounted figures and my research has shown Dixon miniatures also, which I hope will mix and match.
OK here goes and again apologies;
What figures can I use?
I imagine them in very dull colours surely. Browns and greys? This red leg idea, for Missouri?
Can you point me to references I have missed re their appearance?
Look, any advice here, for someone in era outside the comfort zone…really welcome!

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the double post, tried to delete the earlier topic with no success.

Anyways, I'm starting a new Ultramodern Russia vs. China "Force on Force" project. I've had no problem finding all of the infantry and Russian T90s, but can not seem to find any Chinese Type 99 tanks in 15mm or 1/100 scale.

Thanks for any help or suggestions in advance.
