Roll Again30 Jun 2006 5:53 a.m. PST

You know you're in trouble when your dog has more sanity points than you.

Oh, and this post gets my vote for best thread title of the year.

Rattrap130 Jun 2006 6:09 a.m. PST

I want to see them do stats up for some of the classic villains.

Then they can do the Laurel and Hardy stats and the Harlem Globetrotters.

That could be fun!

:-)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for making my day…

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Brandlin30 Jun 2006 6:16 a.m. PST

Lone wanderer30 Jun 2006 6:42 a.m. PST

Excellent!

hurcheon30 Jun 2006 6:58 a.m. PST

I used the Mystery Machine team as hand out characters for a game I ran when one of the folks left the RPG group.

HE got Scooby naturlly

I ran the "Collect Call of Kathulhu" as an adventure. The script for this "Real Ghostbusters" episode used to be on the net, in all its Straczynski glory

Great fun,. though the guy playing Daphne was a little TOO good

Darby E30 Jun 2006 6:58 a.m. PST

Sweeeeeeeeet.

Alxbates30 Jun 2006 7:14 a.m. PST

That's… SO cool! Thanks!

UltraOrk30 Jun 2006 7:28 a.m. PST

Scooby's INT is second only to Velma.

I was trying to work out how Scooby-Doo would pronounce "Cthulhu", and then I realsed – he'd actually get it right (try the voice, you'll see). Mere coincidence, or something deeper?

YogiBearMinis Supporting Member of TMP30 Jun 2006 8:20 a.m. PST

And is it a coincidence that Daphne was played in the movies by Sarah Michelle Gellar, aka Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I think not.

Hundvig Fezian30 Jun 2006 8:42 a.m. PST

So…Cthulhu is actually Old Man Simmons in a rubber mask? That explains a lot.

There was definitely something going on between Fred and Daphne. "Um, Velma, you take the hippy and the dog and look in the cellar. We'll go and, er, play hunt the spook in the bedrooms…". Yeah, right.

Broadsword30 Jun 2006 9:39 a.m. PST

Yep. Now I need figures in 28mm. Sigh.

Great fun! Now let's see if someone can do something similar with The Brady Bunch.

Thomas Whitten30 Jun 2006 12:35 p.m. PST

Well, I always lost a bit of sanity when Scrappy was on screen. I now know why. Scrappy is a minion of the Great Old Ones.

Gokiburi30 Jun 2006 1:13 p.m. PST

Mmm, velma…

Dr Mathias Fezian30 Jun 2006 1:44 p.m. PST

Funny, funny post and link. Shaggy seems a little too knowledgable compared to Velma though.

I can't believe I actually started to evaluate the accuracy of the stats…

Broadsword30 Jun 2006 2:29 p.m. PST

richarDMB – despite keeping your true feeling bottled up, I agree with you. :)

CorpCommander30 Jun 2006 2:32 p.m. PST

Fred isn't going to touch Daphne or Velma. He has a silk cravat for Godness Sake! Add a man-purse and some eye liner and the image is complete.

Shaggy is one bad trip away from being Charles Manson crazy. His Sanity should be nearly zero to start with.

Privateer4hire30 Jun 2006 7:31 p.m. PST

Scooby Gang: "It's Britney Spears!"
Britney: "Hi, Gang."
Shaggy: "Hey like not to meddle, Ms. Spears, but what's a pop star of your caliber doing out here in the swamp?"
Britney: "Oh, I'm filming a video for my next CD. My director, Hans, was around here somewhere."

Thus began the first official module for the game :)

Your wish is my command. I've got links to two pages of Scooby Doo paper miniatures on my site — including one with a paper model of the Mystery Machine.

I actually had them scheduled for later this month, but moved them up to tonight for this thread.

Sounds like fine inspiration for our fine, primative bony fishy-friend to run CoC for his cartoon-obsessed chums.

Everyone loves a vacation!

MiniatureWargaming dot com – the paper miniatures are great! I especially like the "Shaggy and Scooby" figure.

My seven-year-old son was given a Scooby-Doo chess set for Christmas. The plastic miniatures are probably "heroic" 54mm.

chronoglide01 Jul 2006 3:30 a.m. PST

What about stats for Johnny Bravo for his crossover episode?…"Hey liddle deep-one hybrid girly, I see you givin' me your Innsmouth look…Huh! Ha!"

CooperSteveatWork03 Jul 2006 5:22 a.m. PST

Velma… APP 14 Daphne APP 17

Huh? Velma looks like a small, podgy bloke. How is that App 14?

Robin Bobcat04 Jul 2006 9:48 a.m. PST

There's always the toy aisles if you want figures. If you want little fiddly ones, there's always those 'mini playsets'. Problem is finding ones of the entire gang. Scooby and Shaggy outsell the others by about ten to one.

Covert Walrus04 Jul 2006 7:49 p.m. PST

CooperSteve, how dare you malign the woman I love!

Under that chunky sweater is the body of a vestpocket Venus; Superbly shaped, with all the weight distributed in a voluptuous Titian fashion . . .

Nurse, bring the sedatives, it's starting again…..

Old Slow Trot05 Jul 2006 10:19 a.m. PST

Yeah. And according to some stats I read somewhere,Velma is about 4ft.9 or 11in. tall, and a bit under 100#s,weightwise(feel free to translate it to metric,if needed). Cute in all the right places,.

CooperSteveatWork08 Jul 2006 6:44 a.m. PST

Funnily enough in the one place where I worked, there was this mousy little admin worker who looked spookily like Velma… and while she dressed pretty frumpily she had the most amazing breasts! Occasionally her modest attire gave enough away to reveal that they must have been very very nicely shaped breasts indeed.

Sane Max08 Jul 2006 10:44 a.m. PST

I had a fling with a young lady who looked spookily like Velma. Naked she looked like…. well, i need to go have a cold shower.

Hmmmm numerous lust-inspiring Velma clones, roaming the offices of the world luring men to fornication…. this could be a clue. Jeepers!

Pat

CooperSteveatWork12 Jul 2006 10:11 a.m. PST

Hmmm… this is a bit scary, Pat

chalkboy812 Jul 2006 6:43 p.m. PST

This requires a Daphne or Velma post.
