Wow, I have to admit this surprises me a LOT. Press Gang members were extremely instrumental in building the Warmachine communities I played in back in the mid-2000s. I wonder what prompted this change?

Very strange. I'm not a Warmahordes player but I thought the Press Gangers were one of the bedrocks of PP's success with it's customers.

EDIT: After looking around, it appears that Privateer might be covering themselves after seeing what has happened with M:tG and a lawsuit being pursued by their volunteer promoters.

Yes, I think the WOTC scenario is driving efforts to mitigate this avenue of liability.

I don't get it. People volunteer to run a tournament then after the fact ask for wages?
