Hey,

I've got some questions about modelling hedgerows. The problem is I have several scales that I've got miniatures for, ranging from 15mm,20mm and 25mm (1/72). Is the size of the hedgerow rule dependant?

I was thinking (for simplicity) of just cutting strips of dark green felt and calling it a day, I'm not much on developing a ton of terrain as you can probably tell. I've played around with a few terrain related experiments, but nothing really in depth.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as always!

I've gotten some great tips on this site!

Thanks!!!

ok first we need to determine what you intend

if you mean just actual hedgerows, like between normal houses and yards then your idea above is fine

if you mean Bocage, as in norman hedgerows look here
link

they arent anything resembling normal hedges, although they tend to look like them in aerial photos

Sorry, I mean bocage like the Normandy Hedgerows.

ok cool

first check that link I did, bocage were incredibly nasty structures, just do a little google fu and you should find plenty of pics and some articles on building some in whatever scale you want
