So that's what they call artistic creativity! Brilliant

I think it's very cool. Would have been a very good entry for the DIY wargame contest of a short while ago here. |

Seems to be short one of the ten listed bases
What scale are these anyway? Cheers, David |
Gungnir | 01 May 2006 4:31 a.m. PST |
They're listed under 25mm, I noticed. And yes, I can't seem to find the lurker either. |

No, the magic user's clearly the one at the front right with a pointy hat
. :-p |
| Ron W DuBray | 01 May 2006 5:16 a.m. PST |
sounds like a very heavy armoured army, but I feel that their movement might be a bit on the slow side :) |
| James Manto | 01 May 2006 5:25 a.m. PST |
I hope it's based for DBA
. I'd hate to have to rebase it. |

Perfect for these rules here! link |

Love the creativity and gumption:-) Gonna swerve the topic a bit. Since it is about strange things on eBay, though it'll fit in. Saw an auction for some Ral Partha figures, listed at $6.99. Pull up autction to look at the pictures. The minis were still on the card, and affixed right in the upper right hand corner of the card was a price tag fot $6.25. There were no bids on it

The wizard's hat's a nice touch. |

why does the theme song from Disney's "Bedknob & Broomsticks" keep going through my head? |
79thPA | 01 May 2006 6:47 a.m. PST |
Yes, it is a rock army (I know a guy who made one in 15mm)It is for HOTT, which uses DBx stands, so you don't have to rebase! |
| The Gonk | 01 May 2006 7:02 a.m. PST |
That ROCKS!! I couldn't find the lurker, either. I did like the artillery, though! It's a see-saw, with little rocks lined up on the throwing end and a big rock on the weight end! |
| Sterling Moose | 01 May 2006 7:18 a.m. PST |
There could be a copyright issue here! About 15 years ago a fellow gamer made a similar army using the styrene pebbles, the ones that are put around the plants in McDonalds. Sterling |

Are they effected by rough terrain? What about water crossing? |
| Doc Perverticus | 01 May 2006 7:37 a.m. PST |
Ahh- the pet rocks of the 80's got tired of all the oppression and formed a militant splinter group- I read about this 2 weeks ago in the New York Times
.. |
| David Moody | 01 May 2006 7:40 a.m. PST |
I imagine rough terrain has no penalties as a native environment, and we all know that rocks just skip across water
assuming they have at least 2" of movement before contacting the water. |
| Sterling Moose | 01 May 2006 8:03 a.m. PST |
Would a paper army beat them? Perhaps they could have a mercenary contingent from the scissors faction. |
| GarnhamGhast | 01 May 2006 8:16 a.m. PST |
The lurkers are the base behind the wizard aren't they? |
| Grinning Norm | 01 May 2006 8:17 a.m. PST |
Or a paper airforce or some origami samurai when fighting another rock force. |
| iouliared | 01 May 2006 8:35 a.m. PST |
Reminds me of the show "Family Guy" when Peter's pet rock is not house broken
. |
IGWARG1 | 01 May 2006 8:55 a.m. PST |
His warbands are wrongly based. They are based as fast warbands (3 rocks per base), but should be based as superior warbands (4 rocks per base). Love it! |
John the OFM | 01 May 2006 10:04 a.m. PST |
Beware of recasters! Too bad they are Mountain Rocks. I was looking for Seashore Rocks. |
| Buff Orpington | 01 May 2006 10:10 a.m. PST |
At last, an army I can rip off without someone whining about IP rights |
Doms Decals | 01 May 2006 10:12 a.m. PST |
They're called pebbles, John
. :-p |
| Austin Rob | 01 May 2006 11:13 a.m. PST |
Of course you can't find the lurkers. They wouldn't be very GOOD lurkers if you could see them in a grainy digital pic! |

| Mocaiv | 01 May 2006 1:13 p.m. PST |
I cannot believe one of our own bought this! So, when can I get a game against them? High toughness, large number of wounds, low speed and agility
just how do they attack? |
| Matakishi | 01 May 2006 2:21 p.m. PST |
I thought they were a nicely realised, original idea. I could have copied the idea but that's like stealing so I paid for them. They cost less than 4 fantasy figures so I think I got a bargain. I need to make or find a suitable opposing army and then I'll post a battle report :) |
| Lowtardog | 01 May 2006 2:44 p.m. PST |
I think Matakishi now you have Stones you need an army of scissors and one of Paper :0) |
| Mocaiv | 01 May 2006 2:45 p.m. PST |
I need to make or find a suitable opposing army and then I'll post a battle report
I could put together and army of twigs in a few seconds
it might actually be fun! So lets see, you are in Woking, I'm near Luton
hmmmmmmm |
| Matakishi | 01 May 2006 3:51 p.m. PST |
