They look great and I really hate to say this, however, I believe they only used the camels for cover in the movies. Protecting the camels was a top priority since your only other option was walking.

Superior paint job of fine figures--but woefully researched, save for the uniforms alone.

Camels were NEVER used for cover, and as much as possible, kept entirely away from the line of fire.

A lot of modeling skill and effort went into a fantasy presentation. Might as well put mounted lancers in square to attack without flanks. (Don't laugh. I saw a player try it once in a game of TSATF arguing that the rules "didn't forbid it.")
