Are there any pics of CinC's 1/4800 WWII ships anywhere? Their site has none. It looks like a darned good price for some serious Atlantic warfare, but I like to see what I'm buying. |

Excellent! You just sold some merchandise for CinC. (Not the first time; I have a bunch of their WWII micro-armor). |

Greetings. I noticed this thread about the 1/4800th scale naval miniatures and thought i would post too :). I have all the current CinC ships that the company puts out. I looked at your link CoatOFArms. They are AWESOME!! I wish that Cinc would put out some other countries ships but it looks like there isnt enuf of a demand or interest. I happen to run a Yahoo Group for people who game with 1/4800th scale ship if would be interested in joining :). Robert. Heres the link to it. link |

It wasn't a matter of demand. These were special purpose minis. The basic sets came in CinC's North Cape game and the rest were add-ons for it – so only the ships actually or potentially involved were done. |

Hey there rmaker. What I meant is that there doesnt seem to be a demand for more now. A few people have posted on the CinC forum about producing more types. But no luck as of yet. Robert |

Those do look very nice. I hope they can be encouraged to produce some u-boats, Italian ships, more cargo vessels like Victory and Liberty ships, and U.S. and Japanese vessels as well. |

If this is an area of greater interest and a lack of support from the industry- let me know. We could start of line of 1:4800 in support of the release of the Game of Admirals. |

I always considered the 1:4800 ships to be the "scale that should have been." If anyone was to produce more, I for one would buy them in spite of all my 1:6000 minis. And can you tell us about Game of Admirals? gregoryk

'I always considered the 1:4800 ships to be the "scale that should have been." If anyone was to produce more, I for one would buy them in spite of all my 1:6000 minis.' I'll second that and I have full WW1 fleets and virtually full through cruiser WW2 fleets in 1/6000, BUT the quality would have to be C in C equivalent. |

Game of Admirals by Ivan Travnicek were first worked on in 1967. The original manuscripts and playtest work are being compiled into a complete rules book. We are looking forward to this release that supports Naval Gaming from around 1900-1945. It is designed to use 1/4800 scale with conversions for using 1/2400 if needed (I am going to stick with the origing 1/4800). PSG is very excited to have been chosen for stewardship of thie great system of Naval combat. |

I too love the 1/4800 scale and have all the C in C ships. I'd love to find others at that scale. Any available in the USA? (I'd also be tickled pink to find a copy of their old North Cape game.) |

I was doing a web search not long ago, and found a range of 1/4800 scale ships at the MY Miniatures site. From the sample photos shown, these are not as 'crisp' as the CinC minis, but you can get the missing ships. I have not ordered any yet, but wanted to pass on the news. link |

I don't suppose anyone has a UK source for these? |
