The Pegasus ones are nicer
but the cake ones are CHEAP and not that bad with a little work. |

Yeah Pegasus are the nicest – (but not the cheapest) |

What height are the sugarcraft or the Pegaus trees? |

Look at this link for a pic of built/painted palm trees with a 28mm WarGods mini for comparison. I also sell them on behalf of Pegasus too. link Overall fine trees. -Eric |

I swear by the 5" Palms from Sugarcraft. They end up costing a bit less than a buck each. I mount on a large fender washer and spray 'em. I also hot glue extra palm fronds to the top for a bit more top bulk. picture The first Scale Wargames disc has a tutorial, but its a pretty simple process. — Gregg Strange Cargo Games strangecargogames.com |

Gregg do you have a link to a tutorial on painting the Pegasus trees? Looking at your images kind of made me think it was perhaps done by you as the style looked the same
? |

I dont have a Pegasus Palm tutorial. I pretty much use only sugarcraft cake trees for my palms and evergreens. The pegasus trees are great, but I just cant justify the cost :) — Gregg Strange Cargo Games strangecargogames.com |

Thats a neat tutorial
I added his rock painting selections to my color combo recipe card :) The ones that I've been doing a fast. I can finish 144 of em in a bit over 2 hours. Three colors of spray paint, one color of bottle paint and a slurry of paint/white glue for the bases. I use a similar method for the 2" palms, based individually and cut down for 15mm. I've got hundreds of those as well :) Funny part is that I've been selling them at shows and twice so far, I've come home with no trees and needed them for a game a few weeks later
out comes the glue gun and I start all over again :) — Gregg Strange Cargo Games strangecargogames.com |

Gregg, What's your price on the trees? I think I have a local customer who came in with some purchased from you and he donated them for use with our North African FOW table. I could use some more

The big 5" ones or the shorter palms? I ususally go $1 USD each on the small palms and $2.50 USD on the large ones and have a TON of each right now. Email me offline at orders@strangecargogames.com Hehe, I gotta admit that I love going to Hurricon and RECON down here and seeing trees I made all over people's tables :) — Gregg Strange Cargo Games strangecargogames.com |
