Called in an order for some Companion Romans yesterday lunch time from the fellas in Glasgow. Royal Mail Parcel was on my doorstep this morning in Aberdeen. A new record delivery time for me, and the day before Christmas too!! Nice one lads, and hats off to posties everywhere right now. Merry Christmas to you all. |

Just be glad it's mail order If you go in in person all you get is dog's abuse! Seriously though, Static is an excellent shop and the guys go out of the way to be as informative and helpful as possible. Rather than being burned out, they actually enjoy games and communicate that to the punters |

I was getting my own terms of abuse ready when I read hurcheon's second line before I went on and found he liked the shop. In my experience, as a Londoner who only gets there on occasional visits north when seeing the in-laws, they must have one of the best stocked shops in the UK as well as some of the most knowledgable staff. |

hey col, merry xmas
(oh teh irony) Static is probably responsible for the gaming scene in glasgowbeing so vibrant, the guys do an excellent job(lets face it, most card-captor and rivetcounter types are a serious pain in the bahookie)in the face of some serious odds. Plus, the enthusiasm they have for gaming and playing games is contagious. |

Andoreth Yup I like the place. But a certain amount of banter between regulars and each other and some of the staff is a feature. This is a hell of an improvement over many shops where they'd rather ignore you than help you. Barry, we've missed Ramadan and Diwali but you still have Hanukkah, Yule and Saturnalia to choose from if you don't want to do Christmas. |
