I finished the second stage of my Waterloo project and I thought folks here might enjoy it. With a little over 2,600 figures in 28mm, this force represents all Prussian units that made it onto the field at Waterloo. It's a bit smaller than the previous Anglo-Dutch project but still delightfully crowded for a 10'x6' table. Video overview: YouTube link Pics of all units: link Enjoy! |

Thank you for the very kind comments. It's a labour of love, but lots of fun. Working up the courage for the French stage of the project which will come in at over 4,000 figures… |

This is the most beautiful sight imaginable, no accolades could be in excess. Ausgezeichnet! Will the French opponents be restricted to VI Corps and elements of I and Guard (i.e. the opponents of the Prussians), or do you have some gloriously insane ambition to do the whole shebang? |

Fantastic work with an excellent standard of painting. The units look great and the attention to detail is impressive. Excellence as standard. Best wishes, Chris |

Thank you all. Eumelus, it will most definitely be the whole shebang! I have already finished Wellington's Anglo-Dutch forces which you can find her: YouTube link link Opposing them will be everything Napoleon had on the field. Figures are bought already, so now there is just the minor obstacle of painting them all :) |

Truly amazing and beautifully painted and based! I cannot imagine the financial investment let alone the time it must have taken to produce this army. |

Basing them will be challenge, as we all know from the Waterloo in 20mm project. 10'x6' will be very crowded indeed. Waterloo was a small battlefield by contemporary standards, but let us say 2 miles by two miles and divide that by 72 or whatever 28mm works out to be (is it 1/56-ish?) and you are still going to need a bigger boat. But what skilled painting. Faces are terrific |
