I unwisely lost a magazine with a particular article in a move, and I'd like to track it down before I move again.

The article was a skirmish scenario about the fall of Khartoum--but instead of Gordon standing there being massacred, it's Valentine, Samuel and Florence Baker attempting to reach an escape boat on the Nile.

About 25 years ago. Probably MW, probably by Doug Larsen. (It bears a strong resemblance to his "Escape from Constantinople" which I do have.) And if I knew what issue, I could buy a copy.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Didnt see it under this Magazine Index under Doug – but perhaps another search term

Thank you, Disaster. If I can figure out how to run a search, I'm about ready to run everything in a glossy with "colonial" as period until it turns up.
