I have been intrigued by this battle and have run it many times at conventions. I recall decades ago running it in 54mm scale use Charge at Fall In at the Eisenhower Hotel in Gettysburg. Now I figured given the scale, the game title and the nostalgia for old school rules it would be a hit. Sadly, no, as I recall I had a hard time even getting players. Ok move ahead in our Tardis to 2026. This year (spring) ran it at Havoc, Mayhem and Huzzah and you know what, little interest. I even canceled one at Huzzah due to only one player.

Figures are all 3D printed in 40mm scale.

Nice looking figures.

I was thinking that Cowpens is a bit of a surprise sort of battle that wouldn't work if the British commander knew about the historical battle. Then I thought about Guilford Courthouse.

Interesting point. As a long time convention GM I have found that almost everytime I do a historical battle most gamers either know nothing about it or don't care. Very rarely does anybody seem to know what happened. Cowpens maybe an exception just like Bunker Hill?

How unfortunate. I drove 325 miles to a con just to get into a 54mm game.

Fun battle. I have won as both armies. Different rule set. If I could just have translated that luck to Napoleonic games. 🙁

79th that is a long drive. I have a POD shop on ebay and sell an awful lot of 54mm figures :)
