It's a US board, Bill. What did you expect? Antarctica?

glengarry608 Apr 2026 6:21 p.m. PST

Antarctica is the remaining 11%.

I lie on my profile about living in Ireland, so… 🤷

Penguins play miniatures, glengarry? I thought they'd be more into cosplay.

Antarctica – Lots of time. Few external distractions. Limited connectivity. Connectivity isn't great when you have it. Nowhere else to go. No yardwork/miscelaneous chore requirements.

Now, what to play … AvP? Falklands War? The Thing? Cold War Gone Frozen? Mountains of Madness? Lost World? Mineral Poachers vs The World (NCIS Sydney did a related episide)? Who Ate My Donut … The Bag Clearly Had My Name On It!? Forgotten Nazi Base Ran Out Of Supplies Sixty Years Later?

"No yardwork/miscellaneous chore requirements."

Think of the snow shovelling!

But add an RPG version of "Ice Station Zero" to the potential games. And all the Nazi Base supply requisitions are stacking up somewhere in Brazil or Argentina. Have been ever since Frau Zimmermann got too old to work 40 hour weeks.

Hmm. Now there's a potential game: PC's from the Nazi Lunar and Antarctic bases fighting their way through the jungle to find out why the Latin American base has gone silent. Any good set of Pulp rules should be up to it.

Brilliant. What a great idea!

An added benefit of Antarctica – the low property taxes

And as climate change accelerates, low property.
