Looking for rules where the figure scale is 1:1 and the mechanics are not based on units. |

Our club are enjoying "Outremer: Faith and Blood" from Osprey. 1:1 figures, players command small retinues of around 6 figures each. It has a fun campaign system, kind of RPG light. The old Montjoie! is a very good system as well, formerly from Two Hour: link |

You could even go old-school and use Don Featherstone's Slirmish Wargaming rules. One figure = one man, and they are so easy to add bits or simplify. |

Blood Eagle is Dark Age skirmish but it is very good. What a Ruckus is also quite good and it is medieval. |

GW LOTR Skirmish – leave out the magic and monsters and you have a perfectly serviceable (and enjoyable) medieval skirmish rule set. |
